Westport Whiskey & Wine proprietors are Chris Zaborowski and his wife Robin Penick, and Wendy and Richard Splan.

Chris Zaborowski is passionate about wine. He has over 25 years in the beverage alcohol industry at both retail and wholesale here in Kentucky, and he has over 13 years as an educator, teaching wine appreciation classes through adult education venues such as Bellarmine University and The Louisville Zoo. Chris also has served as a wine judge for over 10 years and continues to be an active sommelier for a chapter of the American Wine Society.

Richard Splan is a whiskey enthusiast and has worked in sales and marketing for the past 26 years. He started his career with General Foods corporation in retailing and product sales throughout the country. For the last 20 years he has worked in financial services.
