Morton’s Malbec Madness
Greetings from… Argentina!
Morton’s Malbec Madness Takes Off this Spring!
A Celebration of the Wines and Food of Argentina’s Wine Regions
Spring/Summer, 2009-Morton’s, The Steakhouse, is celebrating the extraordinary wines and foods from down-under—down under Argentina, that is! During the months of May, June and July, Morton’s network of over 50 restaurants throughout the US will be focusing on the wines from the Mendoza and Cafayate regions of Argentina.
“We are ecstatic to be partnering with such a well-known steakhouse chain on this promotion”, explained Francine Kowalsky, brand manager of Wildman’s Argentine portfolio. “’Malbec Madness at Morton’s’ It is a perfect marriage of tastes—outstanding steaks and outstanding wines—and an opportunity for wine aficionados to go ‘mad’ about Malbec without the travel”, continued Kowalsky.
Five wines total from well-known brands, Trapiche and Michel Torino, will be paired with both beef and fish dishes during the “Greetings from … Argentina” promotion. The cost per person is $45 ($50 and $55 in certain markets) and tastings will be held at participating restaurants from 6 – 7:30pm.
