At first glance, the Aloe Vera looks as though it would belong to the Agave or Cactus family of plants, but in fact the Aloe is a Lily. A beautiful emerald succulent that thrives on California’s rich soil, fresh water springs, and a year round temperate climate. Many of us too, thrive under these conditions.
